International Ride Training expands global reach with new European affiliate, IRT Attractions Consulting, SLU

International Ride Training LLC, a recognized leader in operational safety, training, auditing, certification, and consulting for the attractions industry, today announced the launch of its new European affiliated company, IRT Attractions Consulting, SLU, based in Madrid, Spain.

The new company will allow International Ride Training to better serve its growing client base across continental Europe, where demand for high-quality ride and aquatic operations training, safety education, auditing, advisory services, and operational support has increased significantly in recent years.

“Europe has become an increasingly important part of our work, and establishing IRT Attractions Consulting, SLU in Madrid allows us to provide more responsive, locally based support to attractions across the continent,” said Erik Beard, Managing Member and General Counsel of International Ride Training and Administrator of IRT Attractions Consulting SLU. “Our goal remains the same: to help attractions build strong, accountable operations teams and support a culture of safety at every level.”

IRT Attractions Consulting, like its parent company, provides a wide range of services to theme parks, waterparks, family entertainment centers, adventure parks, and attractions throughout Europe, including operations training, auditing and advisory services, interactive safety education, leadership development, standard operating procedure development, and safety consulting. IRT Attractions Consulting also administers to European clients the International Ride Operator Certification, or iROC, program – a third-party certification program focused on ride and aquatic operator safety, efficiency, and professionalism. The iROC Program enforces and supports international industry standards including manufacturer, ASTM, EN, and ISO Standards.

With the creation of IRT Attractions Consulting, SLU, International Ride Training will be able to strengthen relationships with existing European clients while expanding access to its programs and expertise for new partners throughout the region. The Madrid-based affiliate will support clients with the same standards, training philosophy, and operational focus that have made International Ride Training a trusted resource across the global attractions industry.
